Content Management Systems

At Scotz.Net, we like to work in partnership with our customers. We do not believe in handing over a web site to a customer, taking their money and then walking away. Neither do we believe in keeping an iron clad grip on the web site and forcing you to ask us, for a price, to change a comma or full stop.

At Scotz.Net, we like to see our customers fully involved with their web site; keeping it up to date, expanding content, changing prices etc. And when they want to go into unchartered territory then we are happy to step in again and help move them to the next level.

A Content Management System (or CMS to be really flash) is techno-babble for a tool that will enable you to simply change your web site without having to come back to us. For most web sites, our favourite tool looks and works like Microsoft Word in many respects. So, if you can type a letter then you will be able to change much of your web site.

Content Management.
Supply Of CMS.

We are very familiar with most of the major CMS products and we will supply the one best suited to your skills, your web site and your future plans for it.

If you already have a web site, we will be happy to review it and suggest the best one for you.

If we have been commissioned to develop your web site for you then we will supply a CMS to enable ongoing maintenance as part of the project.

Installation Of CMS.

Using our remote access service, we will connect to your computer and work with you to install the CMS software.

We will then modify the settings to allow you to access your web site.

USING THE CMS.

We won't sell you a CMS and go. Once we have installed it and made sure that it will connect to your web site, we will show you how to edit a web page and publish it.

In just a few minutes, with a CMS to suit your skills and requirements, you could be changing your web site to meet your exact requirements.

And remember, when you do run into a problem, or need some help to develop your web site further then we are just a phone call and a few mouse clicks away.
